EU Online Dispute Resolution

Consumers may use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, accessible at http://ec.europa.eu/odr - a single access portal allowing consumers and traders in the EU to resolve disputes between them.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) between consumers and traders is a voluntary out-of-court conciliation procedure. General conciliation commissions assist in reaching agreements between consumers and traders in disputes concerning contracts for the sale of goods and provision of services.

General conciliation commissions are determined on a regional basis; the competent body for resolving disputes between the Merchant and a Consumer is the General Conciliation Commission with its seat in the city of Sofia.

The consolidated list of recognised ADR bodies of EU member states is available at: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.adr.show
